Hi everyone,

I'm back again, if you are looking for the Paper Nest Dolls card, please scroll down.

*********************************

This afternoon we have a new challenge at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia

I have made a circular easel by cutting an extra large Spellbinders die.

The papers are from a Pion collection called Scented Lavender and are called Preserving the Scent and Limaeus Botanical Journey (Aquilegia Vulgaris) and have been pained with white gesso around the edges.

Most of the embellishments are from my crafty stash, but I linked the ones I can at the bottom of this post.

I have also added a hidden tag which sits behind the Joy die on the top left hand side of the card.

Tilda Enjoying Summer

Hi everyone,

I hope you are well and having a good week. Phil has been home with me this week, we have spent time in the garden whilst the weather has been lovely, tidying it and re-painting the fence. We had a day trip out to Bournemouth on Tuesday, there wasn't a cloud in the sky, it was beautiful, we walked just over 9 miles that day! We have also been planning our new bathroom,  it is getting a much needed complete overhaul.

Anyway that's enough of me waffling on. I am popping in to share a card I made recently using the sweet Tilda Enjoying Summer which I have masked with an older stamp Shabby Chic Fence.

I made a circular easel card. You can't really see the papers, but they are by Maja from the Vintage Baby Collection called Flowers for Mum.

The two dies at the top and bottom of the card are by Joy as are the butterflies and the tassels are made from a Marianne die. I have placed a pen knib  painted with white gesso in the centre of the butterfly.

The two sentiments are from an Alte New set of stamps.

The lace, flowers, ribbon, rhinestone sparkler and white twine are from my own crafty stash.

On the base of the card I've placed a Melissa Francis envelope and tag which has been embellished with pearl trim, and and a Whimsy sentiment with lace attached to the tag. Underneath the envelope is a Magnolia die cut swirl.

DI List:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Top: Pumice Stone,
Dungarees: Victorian Velvet
Shoes: Hickory Smoke, Black Soot
Grass: Forest Moss, Shabby Shutters

Background: Gambi Tansai paints Cobalt Blue and Deep Pink

Well that's it from me today.

Thank you for popping in, and for the comments you leave me, they are all truly appreciated😗

Dreamerland Crafts - 'Always Got Your Back'

Good morning everyone,

Did you have a good Easter and did the bunny come? Well luckily for Phil, the bunny came for me, I was lucky enough to receive two Easter eggs. Our actual Easter was a quiet one, just the two of us, but we got a few jobs around the house done and I've started tidying up the garden as well as getting in some well deserved crafting too😀

It's time to showcase another of the beautiful Dreamerland Crafts stamps. This one is called 'Always Got Your Back' and is painted with DI reinkers.

This is a tent card and the inside compliments the front.

The papers are a mixture of  Pion and Maja and I have distressed the edges  with a paper distresser tool.

Sitting underneath the image is some brown corrugated card which I have painted with white gesso and I've placed a Fantasy die on top, I think this one is called 8 pointed doily.

The butterfly is a Joy die which has been cut twice to add some dimension.

Underneath the flowers is a Memory Box die, 'Loopy Rings'. The flowers and berries are from my stash, some of them have had some white gesso added to them.

The lace, pearl string, pearl trim and square pearl trim, are from the Ribbon Girl.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick

Girl:
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Dress and Shoes: Aged Mahogany, Barn Door

Boy
Hair: Hickory Smoke, Black Soot
Cardigan and Socks: Hickory Smoke, Black Soot
Trousers and Shoes: Gathered Twigs, Grand Espresso, Black Soot

I've also added some Gansai Tami paint, 36 Wine Red to the background.

Here are some links for where you can find the image:

Well that's it from me today, if you are still on your Easter break have a fab day!

Thank you for popping in.

Reminder card for the Paradise of Stamps - Tilda with Hanging Rabbit

Good morning crafters,

I hope you are enjoying the Easter weekend.

This morning I am sharing a card  for the current challenge at the Paradise of Stamps. Our challenge theme is 'Easter'.

Unfortunately, I don't have many stamps suitable for this this challenge, but I found Tilda with Hanging Rabbit in my stamp box, this is the best I could do.

For a change I made a tent card.

The papers are by Pion called ornament and grey pallet. I have distressed the edges using a paper distresser.

Along the left hand edge I've cut a Joy die  (6002/0260) in white card and placed it underneath
the papers. The diamante embellishment is from my stash. Underneath the flowers is a Magnolia Doohickeys swirl die and at the bottom  a double hear silver charm.

I stamped Tilda onto Artistico extra white water colour paper and cut her out using a Spellbinders oval die. Underneath her I have cut a Marianne die in grey card. Links to the materials I have used are at the bottom of this post.

The pom pom trim at the bottom of this card is from the Ribbon Girl, everything else is from my stash.

DI List:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Gathered Twigs, Walnut Stain, Grand Espresso
Dress and Boots: Faded Jeans, Hickory Smoke
Rabbit: Hickory Smoke

New Challenge at Fussy and Fancy - Whimsy 'Daphne'

Good morning everyone,

Today, we have a new challenge over at  Fussy and Fancy. Our very lovely Beth is hosting our challenge for the next two weeks and she has chosen the theme  'Fancy Fold or Shaped Cards'.

I have tried to make something a bit different, I don't have a clue what she shape is called, but I quite like it. Next time I make one I need to make a couple of adjustments though.

I have coloured up the very gorgeous Whimsy stamp called 'Daphne' by Silvia Zett, she is a complete joy to colour. As always she has been coloured with DI reinkers.

I started with a 6 x 6 blank card, then cut another one smaller than the first, I don't do measuring it is all by eye.  I then mounted some grey card onto each panel slightly smaller than the card, followed by the Maja papers (sorry I can't remember the name of them). I then glued the smaller card onto the larger one.

Inside the card I've added some beautiful lace, pom pom trim, tags, banner and a gorgeous sentiment.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Dress and Socks: Hickory Smoke, Victorian Velvet
Wings: Hickory Smoke, Victorian Velvet, Mustard Seed
Headband: Victorian Velvet
Shoes: Hickory Smoke
Flowers: Mustard Seed, Victorian Velvet, Picked Raspberry
Daffodil: Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade

I have also added a few colours from my Gansai Tambi paints: Lemon Yellow and Dark Pink.

All the gorgeous embellishments are from the Ribbon Girl.

The  winner of this challenge will join us with a GDT spot.

My lovely teamies have made some beautiful cards, if you have a chance, pop over to the blog for a peep.

That's all from me today, but I will back tomorrow morning.

I hope you all have a wonderful Easter.
