Tilda with Tulips

Hi Crafty Friends,

I hope you have all had a fabulous weekend. We have had the most beautiful weather here, you could be confused as to thinking it is summer. The weather is due to change tomorrow, but I have enjoyed being out and about soaking up the gorgeous sunshine.

Today I am popping in to share a card I made recently using  an older Maggie called Tilda with Tulips, this is another one that I haven' t coloured up for a while. I have masked her with spring fence and coloured her with Di reinkers.

Along the left hand side is a fantasy die called  Magic Lace which I have sprinkled with shabby chic frantage. I did this by cutting out the die, lightly stamping over it with a Versamark watermark stamp, sprinkling on the frantage and heating it with a heat gun.

The die at the top of the card is a Joy die, I have used the same method as above to create the pink colour.

The butterflies are also Joy die which have been cut twice in co-ordinating papers which are by Anna Marie Designs, called  Blissful Teal, and I've added some pearl trim to the centres.

The lace, tulle trim, diamante heart and flowers are from my stash.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Picked Raspberry
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Clothing: Weathered Wood, Black Soot
Tulips: Victorian Velvet, Picked Raspberry, Black Soot
Fence: Gathered Twigs, Walnut Stain, Black Soot
Daffodils: Mustard Seed
Grass: Forest Moss, Shabby Shutters
Background: Weathered Wood

I have also used my Gansai Tambi paints and added some cobalt blue and dark pink to the background.

Well that's it from me today.

Thank you for popping in.

Take care.

Hugs
Gina xx

  6. Hi Gina, oh my, where to start. I just love all your creations. I wish I could colour half as well, you really make an image come to life. If ever I need inspiration I can pop over here and I'm away. Enjoy the rest of the sunshine, we never know how long it's going to last.
