Winter Wishes - Snow Much Fun Stamp Coloured with Distress Re-inkers

Good morning everyone, 

Today I'm sharing an inspirational Polkadoodles Christmas card coloured with distress reinkers.

This cute stamp is called 'Snow Much Fun'.

I cut out the largest of the Posydoodles Circle dies and stamped her with a stazon timber brown ink pad onto Artistico extra white water colour paper.

I love red and grey together especially when making Christmas cards, but the red can be a tricky as it can bleed. My tip is to let it dry thoroughly before applying the next colour and lean on a tissue so as not to smudge the red.

I used my pebeo drawing gum to create the dots, this acts as a mask and rubs off once you have finished colouring.

The snowflakes peeping out at the top were cut with the fabulous fancy snowflake die and I've sprinkled on some twinklets to give them a lovely frosty look.

 The papers are from Winnie White Christmas digi Paper 1 collection which I have edged with white gesso. These papers are really versatile and can be used all year round.

Tucked underneath the flowers are a couple of spruce leaves (sorry it's a bit difficult to make them out white on white), but they are absolutely gorgeous and cut perfectly. I've added some twinklets to them which gives a lovely frosty look. 

The sentiment is from the Merry and Bright set of sentiments. I stamped the 'Noel' sentiment onto one of the Posydoodle tag dies with a clear stamp pad and sprinkled over some silver embossing powder.

A Winnie Christmas Stamp Coloured with Distress Re-inkers

Morning everyone,

This morning I am popping to share a Christmas card I made using one of  Polkadoodles clear polymer stamp Christmas stamp.

This gorgeous stamp is called 'Winnie Decorating the Tree'. I love all the Winnie stamps, her hair is always amazing and I love the cuteness of her.

She has been stamped onto watercolour card with a stazon timber brown ink pad and coloured with distress reinkers and I've added a touch of glamour dust and a few sprinkles of pink frantage around the outside of the image. 

The papers have been printed from the Winnie White Christmas papers 2 and 4 sets.

The spruce are cut from the Holly and Spruce set of dies and I added some white gesso to the tips. The flowers have has some twinklets sprinkled over them to give them a gorgeous icy look.

The 'Christmas' text has been cut from the gorgeous Merry Christmas die.

The pics above show the inside of the card.  I created a little pocket to place the tags into. Each of the tags have been cut from one of the Posydoodles Tag dies. For the sentiments I have stamped some of the new Christmas clear stamps (Merry Little Christmas and Merry and Bright) with a clear versamark ink pad and sprinkled on some silver embossing powder. On the right hand side, I cut one of the Posydoodles Square dies and stamped the The 'Merry Christmas' text using one of the stamps from the 'Most Wonderful Joy' set of clear sentiment stamps.

The spruce leaves are also from Polkadoodles, they cut beautifully and I've added some twinklets to give them a lovely icy look.

Delivering Candy - Winnie Heavenly Angel Coloured with Distress Re-inkers

Happy Friday, I hope you've had a good week and wish you all a fabulous crafty weekend.

I am just popping in to share a card I made recently using another gorgeous Polkadoodles stamp from the Winnie Heavenly Angel collection called Delivering Candy which I have painted with distress re-inkers.

The snowflakes peeping out of the top have been cut using the  fancy snowflake die and the gorgeous poinsettia has been cut from the  poinsettia lace die. I've added some twinklets to give a lovely frosty look.

New Challenge at Creative Inspirations - Winter Blues

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all well.

We have a new challenge beginning at Creative Inspirations today and the theme is.......

Winter Blues

we would like to see your creations featuring cool colour tones blues and greys and/or images showing snow, ice, snowmen, winter activities....

We are very lucky to have All Dressed Up Stamps sponsoring us for this month so we were very kindly given some images to play with.

This gorgeous digi is called 'Three Little Party Girls' and you can find the image here.

I have coloured her with distress re-inkers and added some glamour dust for the snow along the bottom of the image and trim on the dresses and hats. I sprinkled some white frantage to replicate falling snow.

All the embellishments are from my crafty stash.
