Colour list:
Skin (Zig pens) Natural Beige, Oatmeal, Beige, Pink
Hair: (DI reinkers) Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Dress and Flower: (DI reinkers) Victorian Velvet, Scattered Straw
Heart: (Zig pens) Deep Red, Wine Red
Shoes: (Zig pen) Brick Beige

Vintage Journal & Ephemera Paper Collection

The papers I have used for this card are from the Vintage Journal and Ephemera paper collection. They are lush and you get so much in the pack. You don't just get get papers, there are journaling cards, sentiments, quotes, and postcards

I've used a fair bit of shabby white frantage on this creation and I thought I would share with you how I transformed the plain brown doily.

Once I had die cut it

I pressed it into the Versamark ink pad, sprinkled on the frantage and heat set it with a heat gun. It doesn't have to be tidy and most of it is hidden. I think it looks so pretty with the frantage on it. I used the same method with the leaves.

I also cut some flowers with the Flowers 2 dies. I cut the two largest dies for this project using some the scraps from the Vintage Journal and Ephemera paper collection. Once cut I scrunched them up, edged them with walnut stain distress ink and using my ball tools gave them a bit of shape, pierced a hole in the middle and fed through some stamens.

Here you can see the doily and one of the paper flowers.

Shy Tilda Coloured with Distress Reinkers

Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a lovely weekend and managed to have some crafty time, and if you are in the U.K. survived yesterday's storm.

We have a new 'Anything Goes' challenge at Ally's Angels beginning today.

This month I have coloured up the very first Tilda I ever bought, so she is very old, but still very cute. I have masked her with Spring Fence.

I stamped her onto Artistico watercolour paper and have coloured her with distress reinkers.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Dress: Spun Sugar, Seedless Preserves
Shoes: Hickory Smoke
Fence and Flowers: Gathered Twigs, Victorian Velvet
Grass: Shabby Shutters

I have added some shabby white frantage to the die cut swirl and doily to give some texture.

All the embellishments are from my crafty stash.

The winner of the challenge will win this fabulous prize:

That's all from me today.

Thank you for popping in.

Take care.

Be My Valentine

Good morning everyone,

I hope your week is going well.

Today I am sharing a valentines card for the new challenge at Creative Inspirations. Out theme for this month is .......

Anything Goes

This super cute digi is from All Dressed Up. They are our sponsors this month and we were lucky to be given an image to play with.  I fell in love with him the instant I saw him. I have coloured him with distress reinkers and added a bit of pencil here and there.

DI list:
Bear: Gathered Twigs
Bow and Balloon: Barn Door, Aged Mahogany

I used a large heart shaped die to cut the shape of the card and used various other heart
dies which are tucked underneath the layers.

As I mentioned earlier, All Dressed Up are sponsoring our challenge this month
