Brand new Challenge at Creative Inspirations

 Good morning everyone,

It is such a beautiful morning here in Wiltshire today. 

Today we have a new challenge beginning at Creative Inspirations. The theme for this months challenge is a nice easy one........

Anything Goes

Our sponsor for this month kindly provided us with a very cute image which I have painted with distress reinkers. 

The papers are by pion and I've stiched around the edges just for fun. 

The butterflies, watering can and pretty border edge have been cut using a joy crafts dies. 

The flowers, ribbon and lace are from my own crafty stash.

DI list:

Skin: Vintage photo, tattered rose, worn lipstick

Hair: Walnut stain, antique linen

Head Scarf, shorts and flip flops: Spun sugar, victorian velvet

Top: Shabby shutters

Basket: Brushed corduroy, gathered twigs

Vegetables: Pine needles, forest moss, shabby shutters

Brand New Challenge at Creative Inspirations

 Good morning everyone,

I hope you are all well. Spring is just around the corner, so let's hope we see some lovely spring weather very soon.

Today we have a new challenge beginning at Creative Inspirations and our theme for this month is........

Spring Blooms

For my card this month I have used some pretty papers by Pion Designs. I've stitched around the edges of the paper to give it a bit of interest. The ivy leaves have been cut from a John Next Door die and I've added a little white gel pen .

I didn't have any yellow flowers which I wanted to use so I painted some cream flowers with a yellow distress ink, I think they turned out quite well.

The sentiment (Big Thanks) was very kindly sent to me by this month's sponsor.

New 'Anything Goes' challenge at Creative Inspirations

 

Good morning everyone,

I hope you are all well.

We have a new challenge beginning at Creative Inspirations today and our theme for this month is.........

Anything Goes

I have made a criss cross card and painted an image kindly provided by 'All Dressed Up' who is our sponsor for this month.

The image was printed onto Artistico water colour paper and cut out with a heart shaped die. I used   distress reinkers to paint the image.

The pretty red heart is a La La Lands die and the sweet little kisses are cut from a Joy Crafts die.

Skin: Vintage photo, tattered rose, worn lipstick
Hair: Walnut stain, antique linen
Dress: Hickory smoke
Roses: Fired brick, aged mahogany

The flowers, lace, pearl gems and ribbon are from my crafty stash.

Happy New Year - First Creative Inspirations Challenge of the Year

 Good morning everyone,

Happy New Year, I hope it's a happy and healthy one for you all.

 I hope you had a lovely Christmas. Were you lucky enough to receive any crafting goodies from Santa? I received some new stamps and a die:)

For our first challenge of this year, our theme is........

Something Old, Something Now!
After the recent festivities it's time to revel in the New Year and this month's challenge we'd like you to let us know if you've used something old from your crafty stash or something new!

I've coloured up a new digi stamp which was kindly provided by Nikki at Polkadoodles Crafts as she is kindly sponsoring this month's challenge.

I have to admit that I struggled with this card. The image isn't something I would normally choose, but I did my best and opted to make a shaker card.

The cactus has been coloured with distress reinkers.

I added some ribbon and pearl string just to make it look pretty.
