New Challenge at Polkadoodles Crafting

Hi everyone,

Happy Friday to you all, I hope you have all had a great week. It has been a very wet here in the south of the U.K.

We have a new challenge at Polkadoodles Crafting today and the theme for all you lovely crafters is 'Anything Goes', but the team were tasked with making an invitation to a summer holiday party/BBQ etc and we had to include an RSVP.

This is what I came up with.

I decided to make a beach party invite and found a fabulous image that fitted the bill called 'Float Away'. I have coloured the scene with distress reinkers.

I've placed some sea shells along the bottom of the card and a deckchair die cut.

New 'Anything Goes' Challenge at Ally's Angels

Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend:)

Today we have a new challenge beginning at Ally's Angels and our theme is .....

Anything Goes

I have coloured up a new Hanglar and Wings stamp (I was very lucky to receive a few of them for my recent birthday). This little beauty is called Rosette Girl and I've painted her with distress reinkers.

The shape of the card was cut with a rectangle Crealies die. The butterfly border is a Joy Crafts die and the swirl is cut from an old Magnolia Doohickeys die.

Tucked underneath the image is some cheese cloth.

All the embellishments are from my crafty stash.

New Challenge at Creative Inspirations - Glitz and Glamour

Hi everyone,

Well if you have wondered where I have been, I've just had a week's holiday as school was on half term. We stayed with our youngest son for a few days, which was so lovely and I celebrated my birthday too. My eldest son took a day off to visit us one day last week too. I did very little crafting, but enjoyed the weather and spent some time in the garden instead. I needed a little time out.

So today we have a new challenge at Creative Inspirations and our theme for this month is....

Glitz and Glamour

I coloured up a Saturated Canary digi and used distress reinkers to colour her. I added some glitter to her dress for the glitz, unfortunately it doesn't show up too well in the pic.

Most of the dies on the this card are by Joy Crafts, but the tassels are cut from a Marianne die.

The flowers, ribbon, and lace are from my crafty stash.

New Challenge at Polkadoodles Crafting

Good morning,

Yay it's Friday, I hope you all have a sun filled weekend.

Today we have a new challenge at Polkadoodles Crafting. The team were set a challenge with the theme of 'friend', we had to combine two images together and make something which includes a pocket, but for all you fabulous crafters out there it's an 'Anything Goes' challenge and don't forget you don't have to use a Polkadoodles image to enter and to top it all there are great prizes.

So I came up with an idea of making a criss cross card, something a bit different for me, but I am quite pleased with how it turned out.

I have coloured up Hooray Winnie and the very cute Horace. In my world they are best friends. Winnie is available as a  black and white image or pre-coloured. I have put links to both at the bottom of this post. I have used distress reinkers to colour the scene. 

The papers are from Eden Paper Heaven Plain Jane 2.

The card stand was cut from a Joy Crafts die.

All the embellishments are from my own crafty stash.

The sentiment is from the Serenity Fairy Wishes set.

New Challenge at Ally's Angels

Hi everyone,

WOW it's Friday already, this week has just flown by.

We have a new Anything Goes challenge at Ally's Angels today.

I have coloured up one of the new Winnie Fairy's from Polkadoodles, they are all beautiful, it was so hard to decide which one to buy.

This little beauty is called Winnie Fairytale Happy Flowers. I have painted her with distress ink renkers in soft tones.

The dies peeping out of the top of the card and along the left hand side have been cut from Joy Crafts dies. I've also added a couple of straws for decoration and some fairy dust (bottle of glitter).

The flowers, lace and ribbon are from my crafty stash.

New Challenge at Polkadoodles Crafting - Bride & Groom

Good morning everyone,

Happy Friday and if you are in the U.K. I hope you have a fabulous Bank Holiday weekend.

We have a new challenge at Polkadoodles Crafting today. The DT were set a theme of Spring Weddings/Romance and had to use a digi from the Work and Play Love & Kisses collection and only one thing on the card could be pink - yikes, you know I love pink! For all you fabulous crafters out there it is an 'Anything Goes ' challenge and there are great prizes up for grabs.

I chose this gorgeous image called Bride and Groom.  I have coloured the couple with distress reinkers and add some glitter to her tiara and dress.

The papers are from the Love/Romance Lover and Kisses paper bundle 2.

The sentiment on the base of the card has been printed from the Winnie Celebrations kits 3.

I've added a chipboard heart which I painted with white gesso and a silver heart charm. 

 The smallest die cut panel has been covered in lace and I've added a die cut horseshoe which the couple are sitting on and a couple of pearl heart embellishments.

May Flowers and Showers

 The Paper Shelter  are sponsoring us this month, so the DT were lucky to have been given an image to play with. 

This sweetie is called Lovely Umbrella and I have coloured her with DI reinkers.

The border die cut has been cut from a Joy Crafts die, once in white card and a second time in coordinating paper. The star is also a Joy Crafts die and the pretty corner has been cut from a Robert Addams Papercraft die.

The tulle lace, organza spot ribbon and flowers are my crafty stash.
