New 'Anything Goes' Challenge at Polkadoodles Crafting

Hi everyone,

I hope you have all had a good week. I am currently away spending time with my parents, but will be home very soon.

Today, we have a new 'Anything Goes' challenge at Polkadoodles Crafting. The team were set a challenge of  making a small gift for under £5.00.

I don't normally have time to make anything other than a card, but as it is the summer holidays, I created a small set of Christmas cards and tags from the Winnie White Christmas Big Kahunda collection.

The lace and ribbon were left over from previous projects. The flower was printed out from the foliage section.

This time I didn't colour up  the images although I wanted to, but it would have taken too long so opted to print out some of the  pre-coloured images.

For the cards I printed of some backing papers and an image of my choice, added some glitter to the image, painted some white gesso around the edges of the papers and images and glued them in place.

For the tags I printed out a coordinating Winnie from the pre-coloured images, some foliage from the foliage section and used some of the left over paper from the cards to cover the tags.

New 'Anything Goes' Challenge at Ally's Angels

Hi everyone,

I hope you are enjoying your weekend. We are packed and ready to set off for Cornwall tomorrow morning I hope the weather improves.

We have a new 'Anything Goes' challenge  beginning at Ally's Angels this evening.

I have coloured up an older stamp Candibean stamp called Izzy's Stroll with distress ink reinkers. 

I have used an assortment of dies from Magnolia, Joy Crafts, Marianne and Nellie Snellon (I think)

All the pretty embellishments are from my crafty stash.

New Challenge at Polkadoodles Crafting

Good morning everyone,

Happy Friday to you all, I hope you have had a good week. Phil and I are off to spend a few days in Cornwall on Sunday, which I am really looking forward to.

Today we begin a new challenge at Polkadoodles Crafting. As always it's an 'Anything Goes' theme for lovely crafters, but the team were asked to make a project with a 'Just Saying Hello' theme.

For a change I have made a tent style card and have coloured up 'Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Hello'. She is actually peeping from behind a door, but at the time of requesting her for my creation, I hadn't thought about placing her behind a window, I don't think it really matters though.

I have coloured her using distress ink reinkers.

The papers are from the Work and Play 10 collection and the sentiment is from Winnie Celebrations Kit 2.

New challenge at Creative Inspirations

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all well and having a wonderful summer. Well we can't complain here in the south of  U.K. as the weather has been pretty good to us this summer. Although parts of our country are really suffering so my heart goes out to the people it is affecting.

Anyway on with my post for today. We have a new challenge at Creative Inspirations and this month we would like to see 'Something Seasonal'.  So whether you want to stick to a Summer theme, indulge in Autumnal colours and leaves or make a start on Christmas cards it is completely up to you.

I chose to make a Christmas card, just to start getting ahead and they are also my favourite cards to make.

I have coloured up Show the Way Tilda and masked her with the Show the Way sign.You can just about make out a moon in the background which is just a mask which I stuck on and painted around it. I have used distress inks to paint the scene.

The poinsettia is a new die by John Next Door, and I love it. I have sprinkled on some Twinklets Diamond Dust which gives them a lovely sparkle.

New Challenge at Polkadoodles Crafting

Morning everyone,

So I made it until the end of term, and now I can sit back, relax and enjoy the summer, although I must say it is far too hot for me at the moment. I haven't been near my craft room this week as it is like an oven in there, instead I have spent the afternoons sat in the shade in the garden catching up with with a bit of cross stitch and have really enjoyed it. The mercury outside hit 37 degrees yesterday.

Anyway today we begin a new challenge at Polkadoodles Crafting. The team were asked to make a creation with the theme 'so sorry'. I have coloured up the beautiful Winnie Lovely Bouquet and used distress reinkers to colour her. This lovely lady is also available as a pre-coloured image, you can find her here  so if colouring isn't your thing, she is all done for you.

New Release from Dreamerland Crafts

Good morning everyone,

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Today I am sharing a card I made using another of the new releases from Dreamerland Crafts.

This stamp is so cute and is called 'Til We Meet Again' awww. 

I have coloured up the image with distress reinkers. To create the polka dots on her dress I dotted on some Pebeo drawing gum, and left it to dry before colouring. Once you have finished colouring you just rub it away.

The die at the top and bottom of the card is a Joy Crafts die and the flowers, pearl string, ribbon and lace are from my crafty stash.

The gorgeous buzzy bee embellishment was a gift from a crafty friend.

New 'Anything Goes' Challenge at Polkadoodles Crafting

Good morning everyone,

I hope you have had a great week. One more week of school left before the holidays - not that I am counting lol.

Anyway we begin a new 'Anything Goes' challenge at Polkadoodles Crafting today.  The team were tasked with a 'Little Princess' theme - use any girly image, make something for a girl under 16 and to include something that can be for her bedroom.

I came up with a dream catcher. I must confess I didn't make the dream catcher, but I have added some pom pom trim and ribbon to it.

The image is called Octavia Moonfly Unicorn which I have coloured with distress reinkers and I've added some Star Dust Stickles to the to the magic (horn) which doesn't show up very well in the picture.  

The flowers have been cut from a Polkadoodles Flowers 2 Cutting Die and the papers are from 

 Lil Miss Sugar Pops Kit 1. I sprayed a tiny amount of ink on them too and added some brads to the centres.
