 Hi everyone,

I hope you are keeping well. We are getting closer to the big move, we still have loads more packing to do, but it is half term next week so guess what we will be doing??

This evening we have a new 'Anything Goes' challenge beginning at Ally's Angels.

As valentines day is nearly upon us, I decide to make a card with the theme of love.

These cute characters are a stamp by Dreamerland Crafts called 'Walk with Me Hand in Hand'.

I have coloured them with distress reinkers and used pebeo gum to create the dots.

DI list:

Hair: Antique Linen, Walnut Stain, Gathered Twigs

Shirt: Bundled Sage

Braces: Forest Moss

Trousers and Hat: Gathered Twigs

Shoes: Hickory Smoke

Cardigan: Victorian Velvet, Aged Mahogany

Dress: Bundled Sage

Leaves: Gathered Twigs

I just love the pretty heart die, which is quite old now, but it's made by LaLa Land Crafts.

All the pretty embellishments are from my own crafty stash.

This is the fabulous prize that Ally will be offereing to the lucky winner:

That's all from me today.

First Challenge of The Year - Ally's Angels

 Hi everyone,

I hope you all all O.K. I must admit I am finding this lockdown tougher than the first one, maybe it's to do with the cold weather or the fact that January always seems to be a gloomy month.

Today we have our first 'Anything Goes' challenge at Ally's Angels of the year.

I have colourd up one of the beautiful brand new stamps from Dreamerland Crafts called Who is My Loved One

I have used my trusty distress reinkers to colour the scene: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Liptick, Victorian Velvet and Hickory Smoke.

The heart peeping out of the top left hand corner and the ballet shoes are Marianne dies.

Ali is offering this fantastic prize to the winner:

We would love you join in with our challenge.

That's all from me today.

Take care and look after yourselves.

First Challenge of the Year at Creative Inspirations

 Good morning everyone,

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and were able to share it with family and friends. Sadly for us we were placed in tier 4 just before Christmas, so Christmas for us was cancelled. Anyway I wish you all a very happy and healthy New Year, I hope it's a much better year for everyone and hopefully it will bring us hope of a more normal life.

Once again I have to apologise for not posting much recently. The exciting news is that my husband and I are moving house. We have lived in our current house for 26 years, so we have been very busy decluttering and packing what we can to get ahead of the game before returning to work next week. We don't have a date yet, but are hoping it will be mid/end of February. I am down to the bare essentlials in my craft room too.

Today we have our first challenge of the year beginning at Creative Inspirations. Our challenges have changed from monthly to two monthly for the time being. Our theme for this challenge is ......

Animal Antics

I  struggled with this theme as I don't have much in the way of animal stamps, however I came up with this

I am not sure what the name of the these cards are, but it's a form of pop up.

The stamps are by Craft Consortium and are called Little Fawn and Friends, there are a total of 7 clear stamps. As always I painted them with distress reinkers.

To make the pop up section, I used a Lawn Fern Pivot pop up die.

To give the front of the card a bit more interest, I added a bow, die cut leaves which were dipped in a Stazon clear ink pad, sprinkled with shabby white frantage and heat set, die cut tassels and I also added some pine cones and a berry.

The papers were distressed along the edges and then painted with some white gesso.

Our sponsor for the next two months is......

who are offering the lucky winner a $15 gift e-card.

That's all from me today.

Thank you for popping in.

Stay safe and well.

New 'Anything Goes' Challenge at Ally's Angels

 Hi everyone,

Are you ready for Christmas? For the first time in many years I am nowhere near ready, I haven't even put up my tree yet, hopefully it will get done this weekend.

We have a new 'Anything Goes' challenge at Ally's Angels beginning today.

I have coloured up an older Maggie called 'Show the Way Tilda' and masked her with the Show the Way Sign and have coloured the scene with distress reinkers.

Behind the image I have placed some corrugated cardboard which has been sprinkled with shabby white frantage and heat set with a heat gun.

The same method has been used for the die cut snowflakes, sleigh and branches.

DI list:

Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Liptick

Hair: Antique Linen, Walnut Stain

Coat, Hat and Boots: Hickory Smoke, Black Soot

Sign: Gathered Twigs

All the embellishements are from my crafty stash.

Ali is offering the lucky winner this gorgeous Magnolia stamp:

New Challenge at Creative Inspirations - Winter Wonderland

 Hi everyone,

Sorry that I haven't been around much recently, but I have been having big blogger problems. It appears to be sorted for now so I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed that it is fixed.

We have a new challenge at Creative Inspirations beginning today. The theme for this month is.....

Winter Wonderland

For my card this month, I have coloured up one of the new Maggies called 'I Want to be a Snowman Tilda' and masked her with Swedish Church an older Maggie, but a real favourite of mine.

As always, I have coloured the scene with distress reinkers and sprinkled some shabby white frantage around the outside.

DI list:

Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick

Tilda: Hickory Smoke, Gathered Twigs, Orange No. 70 (Zig pen)

Church: Hickory Smoke, Black Soot

The star and spruce are cut from Magnolia dies. Once cut I covered them with glue and sprinkled on some twinklets. The reindeer have been cut from Joy Craft dies, once again I covered them in glue, but sprinkled on some glamour dust glitter.

The ribbon, jingle gells, lace, pearl trim and pearl string are from my own crafty stash.

This month's prize is from Crafty Ribbons and the first prize is lengths of each of these designs from their new Winterscene range.

That's all from me today.

Thank you for popping in.

Take care.
